Tickets (Tickets, PASMO)

Tickets (Tickets, PASMO)

A ticket or IC card is required when riding the train.

Fares applied for normal passenger routes
(IC card fares, ticket fares)

Fare can be paid with either of two types of tickets.

IC card fares

These fares are applied when an IC card is used from a boarding station to a destination. They are calculated in units of 1 yen.

Ticket fares

These fares are applied when a ticket is purchased for boarding a train. They are calculated in units of 10 yen.

* When you make fare adjustment after boarding a train with any passenger ticket other than an IC card (such as a single-trip ticket, multiple-trip ticket, or magnetic commuter pass), the fare will be calculated in units of 10 yen (even when you make the adjustment with the amount remaining in a charged IC card).

* The fare is calculated in units of 10 yen even if the ticket was purchased with an IC card.
